Studio Description
Cays Productions provides affordable engineering, producing, arranging, and much more in a fully professional digital audio recording studio.
Services
• Professional Engineering – Years of experience in the recording industry, formal training at Edmonds Community College, and a gifted ear for music and sound has given Jeremy the skills necessary to give you highly professional sound quality in every recording.
• Experienced Producing – A good producer brings a recording from good to excellent. With over 10 years of recording experience in studio work, Jeremy can help you through every part of your recording project. Whether you want to record one song for fun or work on a full CD project, Jeremy can help make the process smooth and give you advice that could bring your project to a whole new level. For a detailed description, see “About Producing” later in this brochure.
• Arranging/Instrumentation – Whether you need a little advice or an entire arrangement, Jeremy can help you decide what combination of instruments will make your music sound its best. Jeremy can also provide a wide variety of back-up instrumentation himself, including piano, bass, drums, keyboards, penny whistle, background vocals, and more. Ask Jeremy for a demo of his work!
• Detailed Mixing – This is the most important part of a recording project. Many times, the mix is what makes or breaks a song. The way to get a good mix is to work with an engineer who knows his equipment very well and a producer with a creative mind and an excellent ear for music. Jeremy is both of these people!
• Studio Musicians – While Jeremy can provide a large portion of back-up instrumentation himself, he can also recommend many local studio-quality musicians in a wide variety of instruments, to give your song just the right sound.
• Cassette/Record to CD Transferring – You know those old, memorable cassettes or records that you love so much? They might not last much longer. Bring them in to Jeremy and have him transfer them onto high-quality CD’s, so they will last for years to come. This is an investment you won’t regret.
• Professional Music Notation – From composing piano parts or notating guitar tabs to transposing an entire song or score, we can help you with whatever music notation needs you have.
